Amy and Leah (year 2000)

Hey Guy's, Look what I learned in a class. I have to start off by saying that this is one of my favorite pictures of my daughter and grand daughter. I love black and white. This picture has a really soft side to it. I took a class on this page to learn some of the new techniques. Its always a joy learning new techniques and getting tips and tricks from other scrapers. On this page we gathered ribbon, glittered, paper pieced the birds, used hat pins,water drops and tear drop beads. The best part was learning to make the roses. I'm not only posting the page that I made but also the instructions on how to make the flower. They are so much fun and you can make them any size and color to match your layout. These are made with double sided paper.

These Pictures were taken last year 2009. Craig and Liz took us on a tour of Mardi Gras World. It is awesome to see all the artiest at work. This is were all the floats are made for Mardi Gras. The colors are just breath taking. Everything is made of papier mache. Craig and Liz are always our Host for the Jazz Fest every year. There is always fun and fellowship to be hard when

you are with friends. They are not just my friends they're family. I can only upload a few layouts at a time. So I will post four more of these pages in a different post.

Two Page Layouts

Hey, Just had to share these pages with you. The Christmas Pages were from this pass Christmas. Pictures were taken in my daughters home and are of me with three of my grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Gosh that makes me sound old. The other page is here on Lake Yucatan with Peyton LeBlanc my adopted great grandchild as the star. I loved the paper piecing on both of these layouts. Time Out For Family

First, let me say thanks for all the birthday wishes that I received this passed weekend. Nice to be loved. I love you all.
I don't know about all of you but I had a wonderful Easter weekend. My brother and his wife had me over for a few days. They had wall to wall family in their home for the weekend. All of their children and grandchildren were home for Easter except Joey, his wife and child. We all attended church together Sunday. There was dinner after church and an egg hunt for the kids. The church was packed, some were even standing. The service was beautiful. The music was outstanding. Richard and Suzanne sing with the praise team and also in a quartet.
God has blessed both of my brothers with awesome voices. I am so proud of them both. You would think that I was a proud mom. Well, I'm a proud sister.
I'm sorry to say that I did not do good on the picture taking. Can you believe that.
